Palestine`s Land Research Center has issued an important new report, charting the principal patterns in violations of Palestinian housing and land rights under “Israeli Occupation of Palestine’s West Bank during the COVID-19 Pandemic.” With maps and field research data, the report analyzes how these major patterns of Israeli military and settler activity combine to represent three simultaneous objectives, ostensibly to:
The new report, authored by LRC General Director Jamal Talab Amleh, does not end with mere diagnosis. It lays out a set of strategic recommendations for national land use and preservation of land tenure, especially for front line small-scale farmers, youth and Bedouin communities through policy coherence across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
